Derick Mbenyi

Derick Mbenyi, is a Petroleum Geo-scientist with the degree of Master of Science in Petroleum Geoscience Plan ‘A’ of Makerere University, degree of Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Geoscience and Production of Makerere University, Graduate Certificate in Petroleum Data Management of Robert Gordon University Aberdeen, Uk and a Certified Petroleum Data Analyst (CPDA ), Professional Petroleum Data Management Association (PPDM) . He currently works with the Petroleum Authority of Uganda as a Data Management Officer/Engineering. He has over six years of working experience in the oil and gas industry. He is a member of the Society for Petroleum Data Managers (SPDM), Professional Petroleum Data Management Association (PPDMA), American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), and Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG). He has research interests in the fields of geosciences, geo-data management, energy, and petroleum economics, among others.
